NEPSE Drops 6.51 Points as Turnover Sees Slight Uptick Over Previous Session

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a single digit loss today, declining by 6.51 points (-0.23%) to settle at 2,724.39.

The benchmark index opened at 2726.71 and reached an intraday high of 2,734.73, while the day’s low stood at 2,719.27. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 3.08 Arba, with 7,816,478 shares traded across 346 companies through 45,519 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 46.46 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.53 Kharba.

City Hotel Limited (CITY) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 23.53 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 368.00.

Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) Led the gainer's list with 14.26%. The Stock closed at Rs. 2,300.00.

Meanwhile, City Hotel Limited (CITY) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 6.84%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 368.00.

Among sectors, the Development Bank Index registered the highest gain by 0.77%, while Trading Index recorded highest fall, falling by 1.24%.
