NEPSE Drops 20.75 Points to 2,642.15; RIDI Tops Turnover While Just Two Indices Advance

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, losing by 20.75 points (0.77%) to settle at 2,642.15. This follows a 8.16 point loss in previous day.

The benchmark index opened at 2,663.58, touching an intraday high of 2,665.82, while the lowest point was 2,636.40. Total turnover for the day reached Rs. 8.36 Arba, with 20,559,055 shares traded across 354 companies through 83,075 transactions. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 44.44 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.11 Kharba.

 


Ridi Power Company Limited (RIDI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 53.36 crores. The stock closed at Rs. 324.00

 


Salapa Bikas Bank Limited (SABBL) led the gainer list with 10.00% change in its price.

 

 

Super Mai Hydropower Limited (SMH) recorded the negative circuit, falling 10.00%.


Among sectors, the Mutual Fund Index registered the highest gain, gaining 0.48%, while the Finance Index saw the highest loss, losing 2.11%.
