NEPSE Down By 21.99 Points To Close at 2011.14 Levels; Market Capitalization Stands at Rs. 30.10 Kharba

In today's trading session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) Index closed at 2,011.14 points, as the index plummeted by 21.99 points or 1.08% compared to the previous day's closing. On the last trading day, the index experienced a gain of 8.01 points.
The session kicked off with the index opening at 2,033.2 and made an intraday high of 2,034.88. However, the market reached an intraday low of 2,008.03, before finally settling at the closing value of 2,011.14.
During today's trading, a total of 269 scrips were exchanged through 43,591 transactions, with a substantial volume of shares traded amounting to 4,459,459, representing a turnover of Rs. 1.44 Arba. Market capitalization stood at Rs. 30.10 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 10.63 Kharba.
IME Life Insurance Company Limited (ILI) recorded the highest turnover of Rs. 6.63 crores and closed at a market price of Rs. 580.
Similarly, Forward Microfinance Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (FOWAD) gained the highest 4.57% for the day.
Meanwhile, 10.35% Agricultural Bank Debenture 2083 (ADBLD83) lost all 10% today.
In terms of sector indices, all sector indices closed red. Hydropower Index lost the most with a 2.34 percent negative change while the Mutual Fund Index lost the least 0.21%.
