NEPSE Down 6.90 Points With Intraday Turnover of Rs 1.069 Arba; Three Scrips Hit Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 1,926.40 today after losing 6.90 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.36%. The index lost 5.32 points last Thursday.
Today the index opened at 1,933.23 and made an intraday high at 1,939.43. In contrast, it went as low as 1,922.22 and ultimately closed at 1,926.40.
259 scrips traded hands via 30,775 transactions. A total of 3,163,389 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 1.069 Arba in turnover amount. This is lower than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 1.14 Arba.
Himalayan Distillery Limited (HDL) had the highest turnover of Rs. 6.1 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 1,975 per share. The shares of SHIVM traded the most.
Three scrips gained the highest 10% each and hit positive for the day.
Conversely, Sanima Growth Fund (SAGF) lost the highest 8.56% today.
Only five sectors closed green, "Hotel and Tourism" gained the highest 0.87% while "Mutual Fund" lost the highest 1.17% today.
