NEPSE decreases by double digit on the first trading day of the week; Market closes at 1374.73 points

The index in Nepal Stock Exchange has decreased in the first trading day of the week by 12.25 points or 0.88% to end at 1374.73 points. The market had started at 1386.98 points and has decreased for the whole day.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 31.16 crore with more than 5.98 lakh shares being traded during the day. The total transaction for the day was 3,998 transactions.
The scrip of Rastriya Beema Company Promoter Share (RBCLPO) was ahead in terms of total turnover as shares worth Rs 5.47 crore were traded during the 4 hours of trading. While, Century Commercial Bank Limited (CCBL) was the most traded share today with the number of shares traded exceeding more than 23,000 units.
Similarly, Synergy Power Development Limited (SPDL) was the top gainer for the day gaining positive increase of 2%. Surya Life Insurance Company Limited (SLICL) has lost the most points for the day losing 4.0632% during the day.
Both the sensitive index and float index decreased today losing 2.67 points and 0.91 points respectively.
All the sub-indices lost points today and landed in the red zone except hotels, as it gained 1.71 points. Insurance sector lost 45.27 which was followed by Hydropower sector losing 15.67 points.
