NEPSE decreases by 0.58 points, market closes at 1402.09 points

The index at Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) has decreased by 0.58 points or 0.04% to close at 1402.09 points. The market had started at 1402.67 reached its highest point at 1407.24 points but it closed at 1402.09 points losing 0.58 points in total.
The total turnover of the day was Rs 36.64 crore where more than 9.5 lakh units of shares were exchanged through 3,933 transactions.
Sanima Mai Hydropower Limited (SHPC) stood ahead in terms of total turnover with its total turnover exceeding over Rs 5 crore. It was also ahead in terms of shares traded as 1,22,545 units of shares were traded during the day.
Kamana Sewa Bikas Bank Limited (KSBBL) was the top gainer for the day as its value increased by 7.59% to Rs 170. Likewise, Best Finance Company Limited (BFC) was the top loser for the day as its value decreased by 4.3165% to Rs 133.
The Sensitive index decreased by 0.1 point and the Float index increased by 0.02 points.
The indices of Banking, Trading, Hotels, Manufacturing & Production and Hydropower ended in green whereas Development Banks, Finance, Insurance, Others and Microfinance ended in red. Among the winning side, hydropower had 23.43 points followed by trading with 10.22 points whereas among the losing side, Insurance lost 18.65 points which was followed by Microfinance which lost 13.29 points.
