Nepse creates a new high of 1524.07 points supported by an all time high turnover of Rs 1.44 arba; Insurance sector pushes the market upward with 68 crore turnover

The benchmark index at Nepal Stock Exchange went up by 14.68 points or 0.97% to close at 1,524.07 Today NEPSE index opened at 1509.42 points and was seen in an upward trend. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 1.44  arba where more than 33 lakhs unit shares were traded through 6,001 transactions. 68 crore of the total turnover belongs to Insurance sector. Top ten turnover list consists of seven insurance companies and three commercial banks. Sensitive index and float index went up by 3.19 and 1.04 points respectively. Banking, Development Banks, Hotels Insurance and Manufacturing& Production sector  sector landed in green. Insurance sector went up by 261.03 points.
