NEPSE Couldn't Sustain Yesterday's Gain Dips By 9.24 Points to Settle at 2,777.10 Level

The Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) recorded a loss today, declining by 9.24 points (0.33%) to settle at 2,777.10. This comes after a gain of 27.85 points in the previous trading session on Yesterday.

 

The benchmark index opened at 2784.12 and reached an intraday high of 2,791.85, while the day’s low stood at 2,767.18. Total turnover for the day amounted to Rs. 4.85 Arba, with 11,872,507 shares traded across 342 companies through 52,751 transactions. The total market capitalization stood at Rs. 47.36 Kharba, with a float market capitalization of Rs. 15.82 Kharba.

 

Ankhu Khola Jalvidhyut Company Ltd (AKJCL) topped the turnover chart, recording transactions worth Rs. 46.72 crores. The company’s stock closed at Rs. 422.90.

Kalinchock Hydropower Limited (KHPL) Led the gainer's list with 9.01%. The Stock closed at Rs. 327.70.

Meanwhile, Super Khudi Hydropower Limited (SKHL) recorded the Highest fall, falling by 3.60%, the last traded price of the company was Rs. 992.00.



Among sectors, the Non Life Insurance registered the highest gain by 0.35%, while Investment Index recorded highest fall, falling by 0.69%.
