NEPSE continues to slide down; Loses 6.69 points with turnover of Rs. 41.18 crore

Nepal Stock Exchange Limited (NEPSE) Index has lost 3.68 points today (0.46%) to close trading at 1447.45. It had lost 0.25% on the last trading day (January 5, 2017). Today, Nepse Index opened at 1454.14 points and after that it was seen in a downward trend. 524,000 units of Laxmi Value Fund-1 (LVF1) and 521,500 units of NIBL Sambriddhi Fund-1 (NIBSF1) were traded the most today. Bank of Kathmandu Lumbini (BOKL) had the highest turnover of over Rs. 9.12 crore with 148,829 units shares traded. It accounted for almost 23% of the total amount traded at Nepal Stock Exchange today. The total turnover of the day stood above Rs 41.18 crore where more than 17.68 lakh unit shares were traded through 2,833 transactions. NB Insurance Company (NBIL) and Karnali Development Bank (KRBL) hit positive circuit today as well. Manjushree Finance and Jyoti Bikash Bank lost the most today. Sensitive and float index went down by 1.5 and 0.53 points respectively.
