NEPSE continues to shed points as index falls to 1123.83 points; loses 16.18 points today

The market today further fell by 1.42% or 16.18 points as posts a loss for the eight consecutive day. The benchmark index closed at 1123.83 points. The turnover stood at Rs.34.39 Crore achieved through trade of 1,248,409 units of shares traded through 7,547 transactions trading scrips of 169 listed companies in the process.

Chhimek Laghubitta (CBBL) posted the highest turnover today worth Rs.1.80 Crore with LTP at Rs.965 per share. Citizens Bank (CZBIL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 68,915 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stands at Rs.217 per share.

Salt Trading Corporation (STC) was today’s top gainer as it gained 3.98% or 24 points and closed at Rs.627 per share. National Life Insurance Company (NLICL) was today’s top loser after it lost 7.09% or 35 points and closed at Rs.458 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 3.66 points and closed at 246.35 points while Float Index lost 1.09 points and closed at 83.27 points.

Only Trading sub-index gained today while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
