NEPSE Continues Downwards Spiral, IPO Rookie ANLB Hits Positive Circuit

The NEPSE index closed at 1,821.64 today after losing 16.96 points from the last trading day's closing. This is a loss of 0.92%. The index lost 3.34 points yesterday.
Today the index opened at 1,840.82 and made an intraday high of 1,849.56. In contrast, it went as low as 1,818.08 and ultimately closed at 1,821.64.
263 scrips traded hands via 22,729 transactions. A total of 2,788,815 shares exchanged hands amounting to Rs. 90.05 Crores in turnover amount. This is higher than the last trading day's turnover of Rs. 57.83 Crores.
Citizen Investment Trust (CIT) had the highest turnover of Rs. 5.35 crores closing at a market price of Rs. 2,090 per share. The shares of PRVUPO traded the most.
Aatmanirbhar Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (ANLB) gained the highest 10% and hit the positive circuit for the day.
Conversely, Rastra Utthan Laghubitta Sanstha Limited (RULB) lost the highest 6.37% today.
Only one sector closed green, "Investment" gained 1.13% while "Hydropower" lost the highest 2.21% today.
