NEPSE Closes with a Sharp Loss of 32.38 Points; Development Bank Index Leads Decline

In today's session, the Nepal Stock Exchange (NEPSE) lost 32.38 points (1.20%) to close at 2,655.94. This follows a 9.96-point loss in the previous session.
The index opened at 2,687.69, reaching an intraday high of 2,687.68 and a low of 2,653.74. The total turnover stood at Rs. 7.57 Arba, with 18,477,703 shares exchanged across 308 companies through 64,140 transactions.
Radhi Bidyut Company Ltd (RADHI) topped the turnover chart, amounting to Rs. 58.42 Crores. The stock closed at Rs. 575.
Two companies led the gainers' list, hitting the upper circuit limit.
Meanwhile, Corporate Development Bank Limited (CORBL) recorded the steepest drop, falling 9.06%.
Among sectors, the Mutual Fund Index posted the highest gain of 0.21%, whereas the Development Bank Index saw the highest decline of 2.09%.
