NEPSE closes for the day with no gain no loss; commercial banks dominate turnover

The market today fell to 1102.50 points at its lowest point but gained its way back to remain unchanged. The benchmark index closed at 1110.08 points with no gain or loss. The turnover amount stood at Rs.28.88 Crore achieved through trade of 1,078,016 units of shares traded through 5,165 transactions trading scrips of 168 listed companies in the process.

Promoter shares of Nepal Investment Bank (NIBPO) posted the highest turnover today at Rs.3.60 Crore with LTP of Rs.386 per share. Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 112,082 units of shares. The LTP stood at Rs.316 per share.

Mithila Laghubitta (MLBBL) was today’s top gainer as it gained 5.54% or 24 points and closed at Rs.457 per share. Panchakanya Mai Hydropower (PMHPL) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.09% or 5 points and closed at Rs.77 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.52 points and closed at 245.38 points while Float Index gained 0.08 points and closed at 82.56 points.
