NEPSE closes at 1,241.11 points to end the week; Prabhu Bank remains the most traded share

NEPSE has ended the week losing 8.82 points to close at 1,241.11 points. The market had started at 1,249.93 points declined continuously during the trading period.

During the day, 9,48,593 unit shares were traded which resulted in the turnover of Rs 27.71 crore. Scrips of 156 listed companies were exchanged through 4,317 transactions.

Prabhu Bank Limited (PRVU) was the top traded shares in terms of turnover as well as units traded. 1,44,744 units of Prabhu Bank Limited worth Rs 3.63 crore were traded during the day.

Chhyangdi Hydropower Limited (CHL) was the top gainer for the day as the price increased by 6 points and its LTP stood at Rs 118. However, the shareholders of Barun Hydropower Company Limited (BARUN) were the top loser for the day as the price decreased by 8 points and its LTP stood at Rs 117.

Both the sensitive and float index decreased by 2.18 points and 0.71 points respectively.

All the sub-indices ended in red zone losing points except Manufacturing and Production which gained 49.56 points. Non Life Insurance lost 40.24 points which was followed by Hotels losing 36.94 units.
