NEPSE breaks gaining streak after losing 4.78 points today; one company hits the positive circuit

The market opened for the week with loss of 0.41% or 4.78 points. The benchmark index reached a high of 1182 points but closed at 1167.86 points. The turnover amount stood at Rs.68.60 Crore achieved through trade of 2,072,236 units of shares traded through 9,521 transactions trading scrips of 172 listed companies in the process.

NMB Bank Limited (NMB) dominated the trade today with turnover of Rs.6.37 Crore achieved through trade of 158,040 units of shares. The LTP of the commercial bank stock stood at Rs.403 per share.

Rastriya Beema Company (RBCL) hit the positive circuit as it gained 10% or 879 points and closed at Rs.9669 per share. Sparsha Laghubitta (SPARS) was today’s top loser as it lost 6.40% or 40 points and closed at Rs.585 per share.

Sensitive Index gained 0.08 points and closed at 255.67 points while Float Index lost 0.34 points and closed at 86.88 points.

Only Banking, Trading and Others were among gaining sub-indices while the rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points.
