NEPSE begins the week with loss of 4.59 points; four companies hit the circuit, three positive and one negative

On the first trading day of the week, NEPSE lost 0.40% or 4.59 points. The benchmark index fell to 1131.36 points today. The turnover amount stood at Rs.35.51 Crore achieved through trade of 1,167,605 units of shares traded through 5,939 transactions trading scrips of 163 listed companies in the process.

Shivam Cements (SHIVM) posted the highest turnover at Rs.4.04 Crore with LTP of Rs.433 per share. Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) stood ahead in terms of volume with trade of 99,578 units of share. The LTP of the scrip stood at Rs.319 per share.

Three companies hit the positive circuit today. Salt Trading Corporation (STC) gained 94 points while Ghodighoda Laghubitta (GGBSL) and Panchthar Power Company (PPCL) gained 39 points and 10 points respectively. SHIVM hit the negative circuit after losing 9.97% or 48 points. The LTP of the scrip fell to Rs.433 per share.

Sensitive Index lost 0.93 points and closed at 249.13 points while Float Index lost 0.22 points and closed at 84.12 points.

Trading and Others were the only gaining sectors while rest of the sub-indices ended in the red zone after losing points today.
