Nepal Telecom Earned Rs. 5.41 Arba in Net Profit in Q3 of FY 79/80; Maintains EPS of Rs. 40.09

Nepal Doorsanchar Company Limited (NTC)- Nepal Telecom has published its third quarter report for the fiscal year 2079/80 which reports almost similar figures in Net Profits compared to the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year. According to Q3 report published today, the company has made Rs. 5.41 Arba in Net Profit compared to Rs. 5.43 Arba made in the same quarter of FY 2078/2079.
The income of the company from other sources has increased by 35.78% to Rs. 5.86 Arba from Rs. 4.31 Arba up to the third quarter of the previous fiscal year.
On the other hand, the administrative expenses of the company have increased by 16.25 % to reach to Rs. 89.87 crores up to Q3 of this fiscal year.
However, the operating and maintenance expenses of NTC have decreased by 13.65 % to amount to Rs. 5.28 Arba compared to Rs. 6.12 Arba until the corresponding quarter of FY 2078/79.
The company has increased its investments which sums up to Rs. 72.66 Arba. (The investment figure includes both long-term and short-term investments).
The company maintains a paid-up capital of Rs. 18 Arba and has Rs. 75.47 in reserves and surplus which puts the company in strong financial standing.
The company has an Earning per Share (EPS) of Rs. 40.09 and was trading at a Price per Earnings Ratio of 20.40 times.
