Nepal – Sri Lanka completes 61 years of bilateral relationship; FDI from the southern SAARC neighbor state likely to flow in hospitality and banking sector of Nepal

In an event to commemorate the 61st year of establishment of bilateral relationship between Nepal and Sri Lanka, Nepal Sri Lanka Chamber of Commerce and Industries has reviewed the investment potential in Nepal. The industrialists from both the countries have dwelled and discussed on how can both the countries receive benefit from the flow of investment from each other’s nations.
As per the data, Nepal currently exports goods worth Rs 25 lakh to Sri Lanka whereas imports goods worth Rs 17 crore.
The Sri Lankan Ambassador to Nepal highlighted the big potential Srilankan investors would have in hospitality industry of Nepal and commits to promote the same, as stated in the media statement.
