Nepal Seva Laghubitta reports net profit of Rs 18.34 lakh; NPL at 0.01%

Nepal Seva Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NSEWA) has published the unaudited quarterly report for the second quarter of FY 2076/77.

The paid-up capital of the company stands at Rs.6 Crore by the end of this quarter, the same as of last fiscal year's Q2. The reserves of the company decreased and currently stands at Rs.45.93 Lakhs. The borrowings have increased to reach Rs.40.78 Crore.

The company collected Rs.9.18 Crore in deposits and distributed loans worth Rs.53.83 Crore by the end of the second quarter. Likewise, the NPL of the company has decreased from 0.05% in the corresponding quarter of the previous year to 0.01% by the end of the second quarter. The company has provision for loan losses worth Rs.42.33 Lakhs.

The company’s operating loss decreased from Rs.86.53 Lakhs to Rs.12.58 Lakhs by the end of the second quarter. The company had posted a net profit of Rs. 18.34 Lakhs in the second quarter of FY 2076/77 which was a net loss of Rs.37.96 Lakhs till the end of second quarter of last fiscal year.

The annualized EPS stood at Rs.6.12 while the net worth per share stood at Rs.102.74. The PE ratio according to the report was 97.71 times by the end of the second quarter.
