Nepal SBI Bank slacking in major indicators in Q1 of 2076/77; Net profit falls by 10.73%

Nepal SBI Bank Limited (SBI)'s profit falls by 10.73% in the first quarter for FY 2076/77. The bank’s profit has decreased from Rs 48.97 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2075/76 to Rs 43.72 crore in the first quarter of the fiscal year 2076/77.

The bank has a deposit from customers of Rs 99.70 arba and loans and advances to customers stand at Rs 90.97 arba in till the first quarter. The net interest income of the bank has decreased by 2.29% to Rs 1.03 arba from Rs 1.06 arba of the corresponding quarter.

The bank’s paid up capital stands at Rs 8.44 arba with Rs 3.85 arba as its reserve and surplus. The Non-Performing Loan (NPL) stands at an outstanding low of 0.17%

In the first quarter, the annualized EPS of the bank stands at Rs 20.70. The net worth per share stands at Rs 172.11 and PE ratio stands at 19.32 times.
