Nepal Reinsurance Company Calls AGM on Bhadra 30 to Endorse 5.2632% Dividend; When's the Book Closure?

In relation to the annual general meeting of Nepal Reinsurance Company Limited (NRIC)

NRIC respectfully ask for the relevant information as the 7th Annual General Meeting of 2077/78 will be held on the following date, venue, and time, per the decision made by the board of directors of the company on Thursday morning 2079/05/09 in the aforementioned topic. The date and time of the general meeting are:

Location: Karki Banquet, Babarmahal, Kathmandu

Time: 11:00 am.

General Proposals:

• Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse the 5.2632% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. The 415th meeting of the board of directors held  decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 11.65 Arba. 5% bonus shares worth Rs 58.25 Crores and 0.2632% cash dividend have been proposed.

• According to section 111 of the Companies Act 2063, TR Upadhya & Co., Chartered Accountants, Baneshwar, Kathmandu shall be appointed as external auditors for the financial year 2078/79 and the remuneration shall be determined.
• To approve the appointment of the independent expert director from the committee.

Bhadra 19 is the book closure date. Thus, shareholders maintained before that day are entitled to the dividend payout and can also attend this AGM.
