Nepal Rastra Bank Revokes License of Rashtriya Money Changer Pvt. ltd.

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has revoked the money changer license of Rashtriya Money Changer Pvt. Ltd. located in Pokhara -06 after the company voluntarily applied to cease its operations.

According to the central bank, the company submitted it's request to discontinue business in accordance with Rule 22 of the Money Changer License and Inspection Regulations, 2070 (as amended for the fourth time). Consequently, NRB revoked the company's license as per the provisions of the same regulation.

NRB has also requested any individuals or entities having transactions or any other claims or concerns related to Rashtriya Money Changer Pvt. Ltd. to notify the central bank within 35 days.
