Nepal Rastra Bank Raises Daily Gold Import Limit to 25 Kilograms

Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has revised the daily import ceiling for gold, increasing it from 20 kilograms to 25 kilograms.

The central bank made this amendment through a revision to the Integrated Circular 2081, which governs institutions authorized to conduct foreign exchange transactions.

According to NRB, the decision aims to facilitate adequate gold supply in the domestic market and support price stability. The increased limit is expected to help meet growing market demand, particularly during the ongoing festive season.
