Nepal Rastra Bank publishes procedure to facilitate Gold and Silver purchase, minting and sale

Nepal Rastra Bank has recently published Gold and Silver Purchase, Minting and Sale Working Procedures, 2075.

The central bank has published the procedure to facilitate the purchase and sales of gold, silver and other metals and coins except coins issued by Rastra Bank for regular purpose.

The procedure has also determined the quality of the metals used in the coins or medallions

Similarly, the procedure has also provision related to Minting Recommendation Committee and its functions, rights and duties.
