Nepal Rastra Bank organizes walkathon event to raise awareness for digital modes of payment in Kathmandu

Nepal Rastra Bank has organized a walkathon event to raise awareness among the masses regarding the utility of digital ways of making payments.

The event was kickstarted by Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Mr. Mahaprasad Adhikari who marched ahead from Durbarmarg and ended at the bank’s central office in Baluwatar after making a trip around the city.

The event was also attended by Deputy Governor of Nepal Rastra Bank Ms. Neelam Dhungana Timsina, CEOs of different banks, representatives of remittance companies, digital wallet, and payment services, officials from NRB, and so on including 100 plus participants, as per the media statement.
