Nepal Rastra Bank has extended the deadline for banks and financial institutions in the country to publish their first-quarter financial reports of the current fiscal year until Kartik 17, 2080. Typically, banks and financial institutions are required to disclose their quarterly financial reports within seven days following the conclusion of each quarter.

This year, an extension was granted due to the occurrence of Vijaya Dashami on Kartik 7th, a significant cultural and religious holiday in Nepal. The additional time will enable these institutions to compile and review their financial data more thoroughly before making it public.

Furthermore, this extension also applies to the Nepal Infrastructure Bank, which is now expected to release its financial situation report by the 17th Kartik. This adjustment in the reporting timeline is anticipated to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulatory requirements while accommodating the festive celebrations surrounding Vijaya Dashami.
