Nepal Rastra Bank bars 55% stock dividend of Nagbeli Laghubitta Bank; 6th AGM on Falgun 21

Nagbeli Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (NBBL) had declared 55 percent bonus share and 2.89 percent cash dividend for tax purpose to its shareholders from the profit of the last fiscal year.
The microfinance will be convening its 6thAnnual General Meeting (AGM) on Falgun 21, 2072. The agendas of the meeting did not include endorsement of the dividend.
The Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) barred the dividends of Nagbeli Laghubitta Bikas Bank. Officials from Nagbeli Laghubitta and the NRB declined to comment on this issue on record.
