Nepal Life Insurance receives ‘Best Practice Award 2016’

Nepal Life Insurance Company (NLIC) has received 'Financial Institution of the year- Insurance Company' under 'Best Practices Award 2016' title. As per the press release published today, the life insurance company said that Frost & Sullivan, a market research and consulting firm, provided the award to the company during 'Growth Innovation and Leadership Summit 2016' held in Kathmandu recently. After receiving the award, Vivek Jha, the CEO of NLIC, said that only 6 to 7 percent of the population has access to insurance facility.The insurance company has been receiving ‘ Best Managed Life Insurance Company Award’ for the past three years oganized by New Business Age Pvt. Ltd.. In the first quarter of FY 2073/74, the insurance company has earned insurance premium of Rs 62 crore.
