Nepal Investment Bank (NIB) Calls AGM to Elect BOD and Endorse Dividend

Nepal Investment Bank Limited (NIB) has called its 35th AGM on 17th Mangsir, 2078. The meeting will be held in the company's central office in Durbarmarg, Kathmandu, starting at 10 am that day.

Among other agendas, the AGM will endorse the dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78. Although the 554th meeting of the board of directors held on Ashoj 17 had previously decided to distribute 11.24% bonus shares and 4.76% cash dividend (including tax) on the paid-up capital of Rs. 16.25 Arba, the bank later revised its proposal to distribute 12.611% bonus shares worth over Rs. 2.05 Arba and 3.389% cash dividend worth over Rs. 55.09 crores.

Furthermore, the AGM will also elect 4 board members from the promoters.

Nepal Investment is in a merger process with Himalayan Bank Limited and its trading is halted in NEPSE. Thus, shareholders maintained till the last trading day are automatically eligible for the dividend and can also attend the AGM.
