Decrement on Weekly Lending and Deposit Figures in First Week of Ashwin

Nepal Bankers' Association has unveiled an elaborate report on the trend of deposit and lending in the nation's commercial banks.

The total deposit went down Rs. 43 billion in the first week of Ashwin, and the figure is at Rs. 4,158 billion. Rs. 4,042 billion worth of deposit is in local currency while the rest Rs. 116 billion is in foreign currency.

Meanwhile, the total lending is at Rs. 3,706 billion, down Rs. 15 billion from the previous week. Rs. 3,550 billion worth of lending has been forwarded in local currency while Rs. 156 billion is in foreign currency.
