Nepal Banker’s Association conducts online meeting today; look at the outcomes of the meeting

On March 25, 2020, the members of Nepal Banker’s Association conducted an online meeting to discuss essential matter related to providing banking services amidst a country wide lockdown situation.

The main decisions that were made was to open bank branches for a few hours where ATMs are not available, regularly refilling ATMs to prevent shortage of cash at any given period and constantly sanitizing ATMs. Branches which have ATMs will remain closed until the lockdown is lifted.

The association further urged the general public to take necessary precautions and assured that the public’s money is safe with the banks and available for withdrawals whenever required.
