Nepal Bank witnesses slight increase in net profit; Net profit of the government owned bank stands at Rs 2.56 arba and P/E ratio at 7.54 times

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) has posted slight increase in net profit by 2.06% in the third quarter of the current fiscal year 2074/75.

As per the unaudited report published today, the commercial bank has stated that its net profit increased to Rs 2.56 arba in Q3 of the fiscal year 2074/75 from Rs 2.51 arba in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year 2073/74.

Its deposit collection reached to Rs 90.81 arba where the bank floated loans of Rs 79.70 arba.

It has paid up capital of Rs 8.04 arba with Rs 5.97 arba in reserve.

Its NPL stands high at 2.91%.

Its Earning per Share (EPS) stands at Rs 42.57 where net worth per share stands at Rs 174.31. It has P/E ratio of 7.54 times.
