Nepal Bank, the first bank of the nation, has received the superior A rating from Moody’s rating agency ICRA Nepal.
This rating indicates the bank’s capability to timely settle all its pending payments and demonstrates a superior Capital Adequacy Ratio and low risk in both deposit and credit portfolios.
The recently announced 3.5 Arba debenture of the bank with an 8.50% interest yield for 10 years also received a similar superior A rating from ICRA Nepal, as per the media statement.
