Nepal Bank 56th AGM today; to endorse 10:2.37 right shares

Nepal Bank Limited (NBL) is holding its 56th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Jestha 28, 2073). The AGM is beingheld at Tribhuwan Army Officers Club, Bhadrakali, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM. The main agenda of the AGM are:
  • To endorse 10:2.37 ratio right share to its existing shareholders.
  • To increase issued and paid up capital and amend article of association accordingly.
  • To increase meeting allowance of BOD members and to amend article of association accordingly.
  • Authorized BOD to initiate merger/ acquisition/ takeover process with other BFIs by endorsing Due Diligence Audit (DDA).
  • To endorse help provided to earthquake victim of Rs 15 crore.
  • Authorize BOD to amend article of association and memorandum of understanding as per directed by registrar officer or the Nepal Rastra Bank.
Other main agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of 2071/72 and appointment of auditor. The register of their shareholders has remained close from Baisakh 17, 2072 till Jestha 21, 2073 for the purpose of its upcoming AGM. Nepal Bank has earned net profit of Rs 1.64 arba in the third quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73.
