The Nepal Airlines Operation (NAC) is gearing up to offer flights to New Delhi in India and Hong Kong, with Gautam Buddha International Airport (GBIA) in Bhairahawa as the pivotal transit point. This new development is scheduled to commence from the upcoming Tuesday, offering travelers more options for their international journeys.
To initiate this service, NAC plans to kick off with one flight per week from GBIA. However, in response to a growing demand for these routes, the airline is prepared to gradually increase the frequency of flights.
As per the flight schedule, the departing flight will take off from Bhairahawa at 8:15 am, reaching its destination at Tribhuvan International Airport in Kathmandu around 9:00 am. Upon arrival in Kathmandu, passengers will seamlessly transfer to connecting flights bound for either Hong Kong or New Delhi, providing a convenient and efficient travel experience.
This strategic move by NAC not only expands the options for travelers but also strengthens the regional connectivity of Gautam Buddha International Airport, positioning it as a significant transit hub for international travel from Nepal.
