NB & NLG Insurance AGM today; NB to endorse 80% rights share & NLG to approve 21.04% dividend

NB Insurance Company Limited is convening its 14^th, 15^th, 16^th&17^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Poush 30, 2072). The AGM is going to be held at DECC, world Trade Center, Tripureswor Kathmandu at 11:00 AM. Main Agendas of the AGM are:

• To increase Authorized, Issued and paid up capital and amend article of association accordingly.
• To endorse 10; 8 (80%) right share to its existing from the net profit it earned from the fiscal year 2071/72.
• To increase meeting allowance of BOD members.

• To amend article of association and memorandum of association as per directed by regulatory bodies.

Other agendas of the AGM include endorsement of financial highlights from 2068/69 to 2070/71, appointment of auditor, to elect 5 BOD members from promoter shareholders group and 2 BOD members from public shareholder group and to endorse help provided to earthquake victim. The book closure date has been set from Poush 13 to Poush 30 2072 for the purpose of AGM. Similarly, NLG Insurance Company Limited (NLG) is holding its 10^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today. The AGM is going to be held at Auditorium Hall, Russian Center of Science and Culture, Kamal Pokhari, Kathmandu at 11:00 AM. The main agendas of the Annual General Meeting is to endorse 17.11 percent bonus share and 3.939471 percent cash dividend from the net profit it earned in the fiscal year 2071/72. Other Agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of 2071/72 and appointment of auditor. Currently NLG has a paid up capital of Rs. 34.15 After the issuance of 17.11% bonus shares, its paid up capital will reach to Rs 40 crore.
