Naya Sarathi Laghubitta (NSLB) and Everest Insurance (EIC) Propose Dividend for FY 2077/78

Naya Sarathi Laghubitta Bittiya Sanstha Limited (NSLB) has proposed a 20% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.

The 33rd meeting of the board of directors held on Falgun 10 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 25,49,54,000.

19% bonus shares and 1% cash dividend have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 4.84 crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 25.49 lakhs. The cash dividend has been proposed for the tax amount on bonus shares for shareholders who bought the shares of NSLB after commencement of joint operation of Sarathi Laghubitta and Naya Nepal Laghubitta on Ashwin 05, 2077.

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by Nepal Rastra Bank and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. NSLB closed at Rs. 1,385 yesterday.

Similarly, Everest Insurance Company Limited (EIC) has proposed a 6.3158% dividend for the fiscal year 2077/78.

The 121st meeting of the board of directors held on Falgun 10 decided to distribute the dividend on the paid-up capital of Rs. 1,18,36,04,400.

6% bonus shares and 0.3158% cash dividend have been proposed. Thus, the bonus shares are worth Rs. 7.1 crores and the cash dividend is worth Rs. 37.37 lakhs. The cash dividend has been proposed for the tax amount on bonus shares.

The dividend will be distributed only after approval by Beema Samiti and endorsement by the company's upcoming AGM. EIC closed at Rs. 670 yesterday.
