NAV of Sanima Equity Fund falls below par value by the end of Bhadra; net loss increases to Rs.5.85 Crore

Sanima Equity Fund (SAEF), a 7 years closed-end equity oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Sanima Capital Limited and sponsored by Sanima Bank Limited, has reported its NAV of Rs.9.58 for the month of Bhadra, 2076 which was Rs.10.92 in the previous month.

The scheme which was launched with a total fund of Rs.1.30 Arba, has total investments of Rs.79.46 Crore in listed shares and Rs.2.06 Crore in public issues, right shares and bonus shares as of Bhadra end. The scheme had previously invested Rs.82.32 Crore in listed shares, decreasing by Rs.2.86 Crore.

SAEF has Rs.13 Crore in fixed deposits which is 10% of total fund size and has Rs.26.72 Crore in bank balance. This figure was at Rs.40.07 Crore in the previous month.

SAEF reported a net loss of Rs.5.85 Crore till the month of Bhadra, 2076. The scheme had posted a loss of Rs.1.43 Crore till the end of the previous month.

Out of its total investment in listed shares, Sanima Equity Fund has highest investment in 106,384 unit shares of Nabil Bank worth Rs.7.97 Crore. The same investment was worth Rs.8.34 Crore in the previous month.
