NAV falls for NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 and NMB 50 in Ashwin; Slight increase in net profit

NMB Capital Limited has published the Net Assets Value (NAV) of NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 and NMB 50 till Ashwin, 2077.

NMB Hybrid Fund L-1 (NMBHF-1), 7 years closed-end mutual fund scheme’s NAV decreased to Rs. 11.35 in the month of Ashwin compared to NAV of the previous month of Rs. 12.1. The NAV for the month of Ashwin incorporates the 8% dividend distributed from the profit of fiscal year 2076/77.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.1 Arba, has invested only Rs. 54.71 crores in listed shares and Rs. 52.98 lakhs in the public issue, right shares, and bonus shares. The fund has invested Rs. 31.47 crores in bonds and debentures.

The scheme has kept Rs. 15 crores in fixed deposits and has Rs. 11.93 crores as a bank balance.

The net profit till the end of Ashwin month stands at Rs. 6.66 crores. The net profit was 6.16 crores till the end of Bhadra.

NMB 50 (NMB50), another 7-year mutual fund scheme managed by NMB Capital has also published financial highlights for the month of Ashwin. The NAV for the period was reported at Rs. 10.98, down from Rs. 11.41 reported in the previous month. The NAV for the month of Ashwin incorporates the 5% dividend distributed from the profit of fiscal year 2076/77.

The scheme began with a fund size of Rs.1.25 Arba including seed capital from the fund sponsors. The scheme has invested Rs. 99.32 crores in shares of listed companies and Rs. 69.26 lakhs in the public issue, right shares, and bonus shares. Amount invested in fixed deposit stands at Rs. 18.25 crores while the bank balance stands at Rs. 7.97 crores. The fund has invested 11.86 crores in bonds and debentures.

By the end of Ashwin, the scheme has reported a net profit of Rs. 7.16 crores. In the previous month, the scheme was at a net profit of Rs. 6.3 crores.
