NAV and Net Profit rise for Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF) and Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) in Ashwin

Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity-oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported a rise in NAV to Rs. 11.04 from Rs. 10.98 in the month of Ashwin.

The scheme, which began with a fund size of Rs.1.25 Arba has invested Rs. 77.52 Crore in listed shares of different companies.

LEMF has invested Rs. 13.54 Lakh in initial public offerings and Rs. 3.95 Crore in bond/debentures. This mutual fund has Rs. 7 Crore as fixed deposits and has Rs. 49.74 Crore as a bank balance.

It has reported a net profit of Rs. 2.18 Crore till Ashwin.

Laxmi Capital Market Limited has also published the financial report of Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) for the month of Ashwin. This is the second time the mutual fund has published its report after IPO issuance.

The NAV for the month of Ashwin stands at Rs. 10.05. The NAV was Rs. 10.04 last month.

The fund has invested Rs. 13.66 crores in listed shares and Rs. 7.13 lakhs in public issues. While the bank balance is Rs. 48.43 crores, the fund has invested Rs. 2.5 crores in fixed deposits. The fund also has 1.95 crores in debentures.

Laxmi Unnati Kosh has reported a net profit of Rs. 34.85 lakhs in its second month. In its first month, the net profit was Rs. 27.95 lakhs.
