Naugad Gaadh small Hydro project under Api Power near completion; 8MW energy to come online from mid Chaitra this year

Naugad Gaadh Hydro project, A small scale hydro power project, currently being developed by Api Power Company at Darchula with an installed capacity of 8 MW is all-set to begin production of energy from Chaitra 15, 2075. The produced energy will be evacuated using the sub-station of Chameliya Hydro power.

The hydropower project is being constructed with the credit support from Prabhu Bank and Nepal SBI Bank. the developer is also all-set to develop another 40 MW Upper Chameliya after completion of the current project.

The company is also currently developing 14 MW solar energy project. After completion of all the pending projects, it will have 70.5 MW energy production under its belt, as mentioned in the media statement.
