National Microfinance conducts 5th AGM; endorsed 40% dividend for the previous FY
National Microfinance has conducted its 5th AGM on Mangsir 28, 2075 at Dhadingbesi of Dhading district. the AGM which was chaired by chairman of the institution Mr. Keshav Prasad Acharya endorsed all the financial highlights of the company for the previous fiscal year.
The AGM also elected 4 BoD members from promoter group who include Mr. Rabin Sijapati and Mr. Barun Shrestha from Nepal Investment Bank and Mr. Rajiv Giri and Mr. Keshav Prasad Acharya from Kumari Bank.
The AGM also endorsed the board’s decision to issue 25% bonus shares and 15% cash dividend to shareholders from the net profit it earned in the FY 2074-75. After the capitalization of the bonus shares, its paid up capital will scale up to Rs 12.03 crore.
The microfinance institution is providing microcredit services to more than 66 thousand families from its 50 branches located at 37 different districts.
