National Life Insurance proposes 30% stock dividend; paid up to reach Rs 1.31 arba

National Life Insurance Company Limited (NLICL) has decided to distribute 30 percent stock dividend to its shareholders. As per the notice published in NEPSE today, the insurance company has proposed 30 percent bonus share to its shareholders from the net profit it earned in the fiscal year 2071/72. The decision is subjected to approval from Insurance Board and the insurance company’s upcoming Annual General Meeting (AGM). NLICL had distributed 30% bonus share to its shareholders in FY 2070/71. National Life insurance has earned net profit of Rs 31.10 crore in the fourth quarter of the fiscal year 2072/73 as per unaudited report. It’s paid up capital remains at Rs 1.01 arba. After distributing 30% bonus share its paid up capital will reach to Rs 1.31 arba.
