National Insurance Company publishes its Q3 report; Reports loss of Rs 55.01 crore

National Insurance Company Limited has published its third quarter report for the fiscal year 2074/75. The insurance company has reported a net loss of Rs 55.01 crore in the Q3 report which was a profit of Rs 10.97 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous fiscal year.

As per the unaudited report for the third quarter published today, National Insurance has negative Rs 1.02 arba in the reserve. Likewise, the company’s insurance fund has increased to Rs 90.67 crore from Rs 83.32 crore in the third quarter of the previous year.

The net earnings from premium rose to Rs 54.45 crore in Q3 from Rs 47.13 crore in the corresponding quarter.

The company’s number of policy holders has increased to 23,771 from 21,460 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
