Nabil Mutual Fund's Net Asset Value dips below par value

Nabil Balanced Fund-1, 1st closed-end 5 years Mutual Fund scheme of Nabil Investment Banking Limited (Nabil Invest) , a subsidiary company of the Nabil Bank Limited, has Net Asset Value (NAV) at Rs 9.94 per unit, which is below par value of Rs 10 per unit, as on 31st Baisakh, 2070.

The mutual fund scheme is sponsored by Nabil Bank Limited and managed by Nabil Investment Banking Limited. Nabil Invest is also a depository participant in the mutual fund.

 Nabil Balanced Fund-1 has 75 million units of Rs 10 face value, which translates into a Rs 750 million fund which can be mobilized to invest in equities and equity related instruments and debt securities, including the money market instruments of Nepal.

As per a data published for the month of Baisakh, 2070, Nabil Invest has invested Rs 114.853 million on the equities of various 23 listed companies via secondary market. Likewise, the company has put Rs 6.91 million in primary market equities of Nepal.

Nabil Invest has invested a total of Rs 216.76 million out of the Rs 750 million fund in various primary and secondary equity markets, debentures, fixed deposits, etc., till Baisakh end.
