Mutual Funds of Laxmi Capital Market Unveil Mangsir's NAV Report With Net Losses

Laxmi Equity Fund (LEMF), a closed-end 7 years equity-oriented mutual fund scheme managed by Laxmi Capital Market Limited, has reported a decline in NAV to Rs. 9.42 from Rs. 9.56 in the month of Mangsir.

The scheme began with a fund size of Rs. 1.25 Arba has invested Rs. 70.55 crore in listed shares of different companies.

LEMF has invested Rs. 3.94 Lakh in public offerings and Rs. 5.41 crores in bond/debentures. This mutual fund has Rs. 14.5 crores as fixed deposits and has Rs. 27.10 crores as a bank balance.

It has reported a net loss of Rs. 27.81 crore till Mangsir end. In the month before that, the loss was Rs. 26.06 crores.

Similarly, Laxmi Capital Market Limited has also published the financial report of Laxmi Unnati Kosh (LUK) for the month of Mangsir. The NAV for the month of Mangsir stands at Rs. 9.71. The NAV was Rs. 9.85 in the previous month.

This scheme began with a fund size of Rs. 65.2 Crores. The fund has invested Rs. 31.51 crores in listed shares and Rs. 1.02 crores in public issues. While the bank balance is Rs. 17.37 crores, the fund has invested Rs. 7 crores in fixed deposits. The fund also has Rs. 6.18 crores in debentures.

Laxmi Unnati Kosh has reported a net loss of Rs. 10.6 crores the month of Mangsir. In the previous month, the net loss was Rs. 9.64 crores.

The NAV report of “Shubha Laxmi Kosh” has also been unveiled.

The "Shubha Laxmi Kosh" is a open-ended fund, meaning it wont be traded in NEPSE. The fund has no maturity period, and the fund manager can add to the size of the mutual fund whenever needed. The funds' size is at Rs. 27.07 crores.

The NAV stands at Rs. 9.95 in Mangsir which was same in the previous month as well. The fund has invested Rs. 4.25 crores in listed shares and Rs. 15,683 in the public issue, right shares, and bonus shares. Amount invested in bonds/debentures stands at Rs. 25 lakhs while the bank balance stands at Rs. 21.09 Crores.

The fund is at net loss of Rs. 12.32 lakhs in Mangsir. In the previous month, the net loss was Rs. 13.53 lakhs.
