Mithila & Mirmire Microfinance AGM today; Mithila to endorse 20% stock dividend & 50% right share, No dividend from Mirmire

Mithila Laghubitta Bikas Bank Limited (MLBBL) is holding its 6th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today (Poush 25). The AGM is going to be held at Gautam Hotel, Bardibas, Mahottari at 11 AM. The main agendas of the AGM are;

• To endorse 20 percent bonus share and 1.05 cash dividend for tax purpose from the net profit earned in the last fiscal year 2070/71.
• To endorse 2:1 (50%) right shares after issuance of bonus share.
• After issuance of right share to increase its issued and paid up capital up to Rs 5.09 crore and amend the article od association accordingly.
• Authorize BOD initiate process to open branch office in 5 districts (Sindhupalchowk, Kavrepalanchowk, Nuwakot, Dolakha and Okhaldhunga). The microfinance has already opened its branch office in 10 districts.

Other agendas include the approval of financial statement of FY 2071/72, appointment of auditor and to elect 4 BoD members representing the promoter shareholders group. Only that shareholder owning shares till Poush 10 is entitled to get the bonus shares and participate in the AGM of the company. The register of their shareholders has been closed from Poush 10, 2072 till today for the purpose of its AGM. Likewise, Mirmire Microfinance Development Bank Ltd. (MMFDB) is convening 5^th Annual General Meeting (AGM) today. The AGM is going to be held at Dhulikhel Training Center, Dhulikhel, Kavreplanchowk at 09:00 AM. Main agendas of the AGM are:

• To elect 5 BoD member from promoter shareholders and 2 BoD member from ordinary shareholders
• To amend article of association and memorandum of association.
• To amend article of association and memorandum of association as per directed by Office of Company Registrar or Nepal Rastra Bank.

Other Agendas of the AGM include financial highlights of 2071/72, appointment of auditor. The register of their shareholders has been closed from Poush 07, 2072 till today for the purpose of its AGM.
