Ministry of Finance to take steps for improvement of market; Committee formed to study the problems starts work from Sunday

The committee formed for the study of problems seen in the monetary and capital market has started its work from Sunday. On its first meeting held on Sunday, the members have agreed to collect and submit the details of the works and the problems in their respective areas.

After the continuous pressure from the investors, the finance minister had responded by forming the committee. The committee will be submitting its report within 1 week.

The committee formed under Deputy Governor Shivaraj Shrestha with representatives from Nepal Bankers Association, Investors and Ministry of Finance. The representatives will submit the suggestions from the related stakeholders on the next meeting to be convened on Tuesday.

After the committee submits its report to the Ministry of Finance, the ministry will start its further moves for the improvement of the market.
