Minister Gyawali urges Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Vivian Balakrishnan to invest in Nepal

Minister for Foreign Affairs, Pradeep Kumar Gyawali, who is in Male of Maldives in course of participating in the fourth Indian Ocean Conference, on Wednesday met with Minister for Foreign Affairs of Singapore, Vivian Balakrishnan, and urged to increase investment in Nepal.

On the occasion, they discussed relations between Nepal and Singapore as well as various dimension of mutual cooperation and interest, reads a press release issued by Foreign Ministry.

Requesting his counterpart to encourage industrialists and businessmen of Singapore to increase foreign investment in Nepal, Foreign Minister Gyawali expressed gratitude to the government of Singapore for its facilitation in the medical treatment of Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli.

The delegation led by Minister Gyawali would return home on Thursday morning.
