MEX Nepal launches first deliverable Agro product

Mercantile Exchange Nepal has launched Delivery Egg (EGGL) & (EGGM) – the first agro product with delivery logic. Publishing a press release yesterday it stated that providing online platform to an agricultural product is a milestone that re-establishes the core objective of a commodity exchange. MEX Nepal has partnered with New Bhairab Poultry Firm situated at Dumkibaas, Nawalparasi for this product which is available in two varieties –Fresh Hen Egg Large & Fresh Hen Egg Medium. Deliverable Egg is available in a box containing 7 crates with 30 eggs in each crate. Customers can initiate their position with a very low margin amount for the contracts. MEX Nepal has been continuously working to accommodate different agricultural products into online commodity market.
